Nexa3D, a California-based SLA 3D printer manufacturer, has announced a partnership with TWeatherford Inc. (TWI), an additive manufacturing solutions provider headquartered in Indiana, expanding its reseller network in the Midwest.
“The Midwest is the heart of the American manufacturing industry,” said Avi Reichental, Executive Chairman and CEO of Nexa3D. “By partnering with TWI, Nexa3D’s stereolithography 3D printers will enable those new to additive manufacturing to make a huge leap in productivity.”
“For manufacturers already using 3D printing, they will be further empowered to convert printing speeds from dialup internet to broadband-like productivity to manufacture products that break speed and cost barriers.”
Ultrafast SLA 3D printing
Founded in 2006, TWI offers both software and hardware additive manufacturing solutions for aerospace and defense, medical, automotive and consumer sectors. This includes Autodesk Netfabb, XYZprinting 3D printers such as the CastPro100 xP, as well as the Rize One.
The partnership with Nexa3D expands the company’s plan to deliver upgraded ultrafast industrial SLA 3D printers at an affordable cost. Such 3D printers include the NXE400, a large-format additive manufacturing system, which debuted earlier this year. This machine is capable of printing up to 16 liters of part volume at speeds of up to 1Z centimeter per minute.
Cindie Weatherford, President and CEO of TWI, stated, “We are excited to partner with Nexa3D to offer this breakthrough technology for our established customer base and new customers ready to make the leap into industrial 3D printing.”
“With their speed, precision and automation, Nexa3D printers will provide distinct advantages to all of our clients, whether they have been using additive manufacturing for years or implementing the technology into their processes for the first time.”
“The most productive dental lab 3D printer”
Recently, Nexa3D and BEGO a German dental device manufacturer unveiled the Varseo XL SLA 3D printer at the International Dental Show (IDS) 2019 in Cologne. This system is said to boast five times the print area of comparable dental 3D printers and prints at six times the speed, as well as ten times the volume.
Thus, the Varseo XL has been dubbed as the “most productive and economical dental lab 3D printer”. Nexa3D’s proprietary Lubricant Sublayer Photo-curing (LSPc) and structured light matrix technology powers the Varseo XL to manufacture objects at up to 1cm/min and 2700cc/hr. It is designed to print with the full range of BEGO dental resins, for surgical guides, trays, permanent restorations, bridges, crowns, surgical guides and, CAD/Cast applications.
